Ray Harper SPHR, Director of Human Resources

With daily oversight of Human Resources, Risk Management, Casino Operations, Fleet Management and Legal Affairs; Ray is responsible for administrative functions in support of over 1100 team members working at 120+ locations in 34 states. Included in his duties are compliance, policies and procedures, claims management, safety, the company uniform program, Avascend's Manager Candidate Training Course, casino operations, casino sales and fleet management. 

Ray is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).  HRCI is the credentialing body for human resource professionals and is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world's largest organization dedicated exclusively to the human resource profession. 

Ray served previously as the Director of Operations for Avascend, during his tenure Avascend grew from 40 to over 100 client accounts.  Prior to working for Avascend, Ray served 12 years with the U.S. Army Military Police Corps where he worked with and trained Patrol, Narcotic Detector and Explosive Detector Dogs.

Ray's leading responsibility is to ensure that Avascend's training methodology prepares our staff to support patients and visitors during a time when assistance is most valuable, allowing them to focus on their health and their loved ones.
