John Menghini, Chairman of the Board
John currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Avascend Healthcare Hospitality. John was previously the co-founder and Chairman of Veritas Partners, a private equity investment firm in Kansas City. John led Veritas Partners through the creation of Impact Design, which grew to become the largest embroidery and screen printing service for the apparel industry. In addition, John led Veritas Partners in several residential and commercial construction projects as well as several land development projects including office park development, retail development and residential housing development. Prior to founding Veritas Partners, John spent 23 years as President and Chief Executive Officer for Gear For Sports, a $220 million athletic apparel company based in Kansas City. John attended Hofstra University in New York and received a degree in Economics in 1972.
